With decades of experience in the mortgage industry, including over 20 years specializing in reverse mortgages, I’ve learned one invaluable lesson: there is no such thing as a “one-size-fits-all” solution. Each client I work with is unique, and understanding their personal desires and long-term goals is my top priority. By taking the time to truly listen, I craft tailored strategies to meet their specific needs—whether they are seeking financial relief or planning their ideal retirement.
Reverse mortgages are still widely misunderstood, and their potential remains untapped by many who could benefit from this powerful financial tool. I am passionate about changing that. Through regular educational workshops and collaborations with other industry professionals, I help people understand how a reverse mortgage can complement a well-thought-out retirement plan.
The most rewarding moments in my work come when I see a client breathe a sigh of relief after securing a reverse mortgage to supplement their income or when a senior homebuyer celebrates getting the keys to their perfect home. Those "lightbulb moments"—when clients finally grasp the possibilities a reverse mortgage can offer—are why I love what I do.
I believe so strongly in the value of reverse mortgages that I even recommended one to my own father. Thanks to his reverse mortgage, he was able to make essential upgrades to his home, allowing him to safely age in place and remain part of the community he loves.
Beyond my work, I am deeply committed to making the world a better place. I serve on the board of my local Habitat for Humanity and have previously been a board member of Autism Spectrum Athletics, a nonprofit supporting families affected by autism. I’m also the proud mother of amazing young adults who inspire me every day.
